As the Alberta Fire Training School, the centre has set the standard for firefighting instruction since 1959. The centre now also fills the need for risk-management and disaster-mitigation strategies that extend beyond firefighting. The centre uses an innovative network management model, drawing on both internal and external resources that provide clients with the best possible service.
